You already sell email on the domain. Add a line that pays a published commission on every renewal.
A small Workspace reseller today buys through a distributor, cannot sell the ₹99 Business Base plan at all, and works on a margin Google does not publish. Every customer who says ₹270 a user is too much for email walks away with nothing earned. XgenPlus is the line for that customer: business email hosted in India from ₹21 a user, Outlook and phones working the same way, and 15 to 20% to you on every order and every renewal, in writing.
A Google Workspace reseller can join the XgenPlus Partner Program alongside the Google programme: neither agreement is exclusive, XgenPlus has no cost to join, no seat minimum and no target, and pays 15% of list price on 1 to 3 active domains, 17% on 4 to 6 and 20% on 7 or more, on the first order, on added users and on every renewal. You invoice in your own name or refer the customer to buy direct; the commission follows the domain either way. Applications are reviewed within one business day.
Three customers you lose today, and why
The one who wanted the ₹99 plan
Business Base is self-service from Google. The plans you can sell start at Business Starter, ₹270 per user per month before GST. A 20-person trading firm asks for email on its domain, hears ₹64,800 a year, and buys a ₹99 plan on its own or goes to a hosting company. You earn nothing on either.
The one who must keep mail in India
NBFCs, cooperative banks, PSU vendors and government bodies with a data-residency or on-premise requirement. Workspace has one answer. XgenPlus runs hosted in Indian data centres, in a private cloud or on-premise including air-gapped, and co-bids on GeM with manufacturer authorisation.
The one who renews direct
Under a wholesale model your renewal margin depends on you re-billing the customer every year. When they move to buying from Google or another reseller, the income stops. The XgenPlus commission is attached to the domain, so a customer who renews directly still pays you the same slab.
The same 25-user customer, side by side
XgenPlus figures use the published list price of XGEN Premium (10 GB, ₹50 per user per month billed yearly) and the published slab. Workspace figures use Business Starter at ₹270 and the reported reseller margin.
On XgenPlus, at the 20% slab
- Customer pays ₹15,000 a year before GST
- You earn ₹3,000 in year one and ₹3,000 at every renewal, whoever presses the button
- Fifty such customers are ₹1,50,000 a year, recurring; on XGEN Advance (30 GB, ₹85) the same fifty are ₹2,55,000
- Migration, setup and training go on your own invoice on top
On Workspace Business Starter
- Customer pays ₹81,000 a year before GST
- Reported margin of 12 to 18%, with some points to the distributor: around ₹9,700 at 12%
- More rupees per customer, but a ₹81,000 email bill is a harder sale and the first line cut when a price rise lands
- Renewal margin only while you keep re-billing
Partners tell us they close about three XgenPlus customers in the time it takes to close one Workspace customer. The three-year comparison across six programmes is on the reseller economics page; the rupee tables at 10, 25 and 50 customers are in is business email reselling profitable in India.
Nothing your customer does every day changes
Same clients
Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird and every phone mail app over IMAP and SMTP, ActiveSync on iPhone and Android, plus the XgenPlus web, Windows, iOS and Android apps. Calendars and contacts sync.
Same address, more scripts
Addresses and the domain stay. A mailbox can also carry an address in Hindi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil or 80 other scripts beside the English one, which no other business email service in India offers. That is a line on your proposal that Workspace cannot match.
Migration done for them
Moving a Workspace domain to XgenPlus, mail, contacts and calendars, is done by the XgenPlus team, included on hosted plans from Premium upwards, with DNS switched on a date the customer picks. The Partner Kit has the migration playbook.

What Workspace resellers ask us
Can I be a Google Workspace reseller and an XgenPlus partner at the same time?
Yes. Neither programme is exclusive. Sell Workspace to the customers who want Google Meet, Drive and Gemini, and XgenPlus to the ones who want email on their domain at a rupee price, Indian hosting or on-premise.
Why can I not sell Google's ₹99 Business Base plan?
Business Base is sold by Google directly as a self-service plan. Reseller-supported Workspace plans begin at Business Starter, ₹270 per user per month before GST. The XgenPlus price list starts at ₹21 per user per month and every plan on it earns your slab.
Is the XgenPlus commission published, or negotiated?
Published: 15% of list price before GST on 1 to 3 active commissioned domains, 17% on 4 to 6, 20% on 7 or more. It is recomputed on every paid order and only ever moves up. There is no wholesale tier and no partner discount; customers pay list price.
Who does the migration from Workspace?
The XgenPlus team, included on hosted plans from Premium upwards and on every on-premise Enterprise deployment. Mail, contacts and calendars move in batches, DNS switches on the agreed date, and the customer keeps every address.
